Bernie Fratto is a FoxSportsRadio National On-Air personality and he has been with the network since September 2018. He is the host of “The Bernie Fratto Show” every Friday night and Saturday night at 11pm PST. Syndicated on 600 stations, he has over one-million listeners. Since relocating to Las Vegas in February 2010, Bernie has become a fixture at ESPN 1100am and is the Host of “ESPN College GameDay” for the UNLV Runnin’ Rebels Men’s Basketball team as well as the host of “Rebel Extra,” the highly rated postgame show. Bernie is also a co-host on Monday nights for “SportsXRadio” a Yahoo-Sports Nationally syndicated show which is broadcast live from Lagasse’s Stadium inside the beautiful Venetian/Palazzo Hotel Casino on the World Famous Las Vegas strip.
Between 1995-2009 Bernie had a great following in Detroit during his tenure on the airwaves in the world of Sportstalk radio.He co-hosted the Detroit Lions Postgame show on the Flagship Station CBS 97.1FM ‘The Ticket’ from 2003-2008 and was a frequent guest host on the highly successful “SportsTime with Parker and the Man” radio show which aired nightly from 1998-2008 on 97.1FM, WCHB 1200am and WDFN 1130am ‘The Fan.’
He created, produced and hosted his own shows on WTKA 1050am (“The Sports Angle” & “The View from the Cheap Seats”) from 1995-2001 and also produced feature stories and commentaries for KOOL 107.1FM and WOVI 89.5FM.
He appeared many times as a guest of Dick and Jeremy Schaap on the nationally syndicated “The Sporting Life” and has held media credentials with the Detroit Tigers, Detroit Pistons and Detroit Lions for many years. During his tenure in Detroit he covered the 2006 World Series, Super Bowl XL, the MLB All-Star game in July 2005, and the NBA Finals in 2004 and 2005.
Bernie Fratto has also presided over a $20 million dollar division of a major corporation and as a result of this he understands the importance of teamwork and creating an environment where people can flourish because they truly have the desire to achieve success.
He is an expert in sales training and team-building and he believes there is greatness in everyone. The greatness comes when people care more than others think is wise, risk more than others think is sage, they dream more than others think is practical and they expect more than others think is possible.
